This post was after spending four months in Nashville. It was a very difficult time for me.

I’m Heading Home, I’ve Done My Time!

I’ll be headed home for good on Friday January 27th! Although the time in Nashville has been very difficult, there are many folks who’ve made it more bearable for me. I’d like to thank Ellen Fanning of Vanderbilt who has been very helpful in providing resources for my research. John Thatamanil and his wife Lyn Fulton-John have helped me in so many ways that I cannot begin to thank them. I can’t wait to bring my wife and family to Nashville to meet them.

Crescent CafeThe group from the Crescent Cafe and Oyster Bar has been unbelievable! It’s really been a second home for me. T.C., Scott, and Scotty have listened to me whine and complain for four months. I honestly don’t think I would have made it here without you guys. Seriously. Y’all have been one of my life’s richest blessings. You have truly ministered to me. Jessie, Max, Adam thanks for the great food. You’ve always made me feel at home. Albert, who are you picking for the Superbowl?

Brad and Cole…I’ll really miss your music. When y’all get rich and famous you can by me drinks!
